The Novice Imprint

A vase was found in Israel that was constructed poorly, but it contained a key feature. The child that fashioned it had accidentally inserted their thumb into the wet clay. Over 2,000 years later, we have a perfect imprint of their fingerprint and chewed nail. We do not have such evidence of ancient expert fingerprints.

We expect expertise to create the greatest and most lasting impact and imprint on history. Many times, the novices outshine and outlast the experts, especially in Scripture.

The Second Draft is my novice attempt at writing. I’m no expert. However, I hope you enjoy it and find it useful beyond the present.
